A temporary casino establishment is less than six months away in Waukegan with Full House Resorts’ American Place set to open in two years.

Offering a boost to the economy in Waukegan and Lake County overall with job growth and tourism as well as an emotional impact on the community, the addition of American Place is one of Lake County’s top stories of 2021.

Waukegan Mayor Ann Taylor sees American Place as the start of much more economic growth in the city and surrounding area.
