Chris Bellamy will be Cohen & Company's next CEO.CLEVELAND, Ohio — Cohen & Co.’s longest serving CEO will step down after holding the role for 25 years.
Randy Myeroff, CEO since 1997, will be replaced June 1 by Chris Bellamy, the firm’s current president. The company has grown 10-fold since Myeroff took the reins, expanding its accounting, tax and advisory services, the company said in a news release. Bellamy joined the company in 1999. In the past he’s led Cohen’s expansions into new markets, and he was appointed president in 2020.Cohen, founded by Ron Cohen in 1977, now employs about 650 people across seven states, Ireland and the Cayman Islands.The company will get a $500,000 tax credit over six years.
