Chris Ramsey and his team have been preparing for this journey for over four years, and now it’s been announced that Nissan will be the official vehicle partner of the Pole to Pole Expedition. To prepare for the extreme conditions of both the Arctic and Antarctic, the Nissan Ariya e-4ORCE will be modified and equipped by Arctic Trucks, which specializes in polar vehicles. They’ll also provide logistical support and expertise for planning a safe and accessible route through some of the most hostile and remote environments on the planet.
And the team will also meet new people along the way. They will also investigate solutions for sustainability issues such as polar melting to habitat loss while exploring different cultures and communities.
