The festive fun follows on from the opening of the Christmas Fair at St Enoch Square last month and includes an ice rink and attractions such as a ferris wheel, helter-skelter and train ride.stalls and markets are also available, as well as a marshmallow toasting station, festive-themed bar and Bavarian swing grill.Lord Provost Jacqueline McLaren said: “It’s fantastic to see the Christmas Fair return to George Square - bringing festive fun back to the city centre.
"There’s something for everyone, from the ice rink and children’s Christmas train ride to a selection of food and drink stalls.READ MORE:The popular ice rink will host hourly sessions which run for 45 minutes. Tickets will cost £13.50 for those 16 and over, £11 for under-16s and £13 for under-16s. The price includes boot hire.
Skating sessions for those with additional support needs will also take place on Sunday, December 4, Sunday, December 11 and Sunday, December 18.The Christmas Fair will be open Monday to Sunday from 10am until 10pm, and will run until Sunday, January 8.
