The popular singer passed away on Tuesday following a long illness after being diagnosed with a rare form of blood cancer in 2013
The 65-year-old Crazy World hitmaker had been receiving palliative care since December after he spent six months in the Beaumont Hospital.Christy was a huge football fan, with Bohemians sharing a picture of him shaking hands with former manager Keith Long and another of him performing live in a Bohs jersey following his death.
He said: "Celtic scored first and then Rangers scored and they brought on your man Jermaine Defoe and Rangers were starting to get on top in the game.
