Both presenters made reference to the late nights and early mornings as they thanked workmates, viewers and all the guests they've hosted over the years. "Thank you to my incredible colleagues and friends, to all of our guests and especially to the viewers who joined me along the way. Before I depart, there's the small matter of an election! See you all tonight at 10.35pm for our election special."
