Sefton Park hosts Africa Oye 2024, a celebration of African and Caribbean music
Liverpool artists are preparing to open the country's biggest celebration of African and Caribbean music.

Make sure you get down to the festival for 12:30pm on both days so you don’t miss these talented young artists kick off the event in style.
MD Productions open proceedings on Saturday and 17-year-old Fraya Ofoeme will open the music programme on Sunday. Fraya, an aspiring artist from Liverpool, has been singing since she was just four. She is determined to make it her future and is currently on Sound City's Training and Development Programme.
Liverpool Hip Hop Festival's youth group is a talented group of musicians and vocalists who have grown from their Access All Areas project, supported by Liverpool Royal Court. This year audiences can expect to see "an interesting collective of different musical vibes to get you in the mood for a good time".
