Twenty serial killers were stalking the L.A. streets at the same time in the 1970s and 80s.

She had been bludgeoned to death and sexually assaulted."Originally they thought that she might be related to the Hillside Strangler case. The difference is the women that were in the Hillside Strangler case were dumped and Jill Barcomb had been posed," Murphy continued.
The Toolbox Killers, Lawrence Bittaker and Roy Norris, raped and killed five teenage girls in 1979, and tortured them using tools like ice picks and pliers. Norris pleaded guilty and testified against Bittaker, who was convicted. Both died in prison.
