Arbutus has been trying to get the city to remove a hold requiring it to construct a $7 million sewer lift station before pouring the foundation for a new building at 2775 Meadows Parkway.

Arbutus CEO Jeff Drexel, in response to the letter, called its timing “shocking,” as it arrived after months of work had already been completed on the lift station. It was not immediately clear how the apparent resolution of the Rosewood dispute would affect another major Arbutus project in Saskatoon.
