The Titanic Hotel's Maya Blue spa is offering inclusive treatments for anyone battling or with a history of cancer
The Titanic Hotel's spa and wellness centre, Maya Blue, hopes to offer its inclusive cancer relaxation treatments to as many people as possible.
While some spas may turn patients away due to fear treatments may affect their condition, ESPA drives home the fact cancer is not a skin type. Certain areas need to be given special care, such as tumour sites or lymph nodes, but the Maya Blue Wellness therapists are fully trained to cater to every stage.
She said: "We wanted to add the experience to our treatment menu to be able to offer something to everyone. A lot of guests who are battling cancer or going through chemotherapy can't actually just go and have a spa treatment which I think is a little bit unfair. It's about including everybody, especially those who deserve it most.
