The Prime Time TV presenter was previously listed as a 16/1 shot when the race began, but has now become the forerunner to take the reins of Ireland's Friday night staple.Some acutely aware betters noticed a timely follow of McInerney’s Twitter account from The Late Late Show's social media team as soon as Tubridy revealed he was stepping away from the helm after 14 years.
Morning radio host Claire Byrne, who begins a new quiz show Ireland's Smartest after stepping down from her last TV role Claire Byrne Live last year, was previously at 4/11 favourite just 24 hours ago but has now fallen behind at 5/4.
