Coronation Street star Claire Sweeney has spoken out about her split from Ricky Hatton after the couple called time on their romance following a whirlwind six-month relationship
Claire Sweeney has broken her silence with a three-word comment following her split from Ricky Hatton. The couple sparked up a romance after taking part in ITV's Dancing On Ice earlier this year, with the former boxer, 46, and Coronation Street star, 53, turning heads with their chemistry.
Despite the breakup, Claire was nothing short of sensational at the London premiere of The Devil Wears Prada: The Musical on Sunday night. She dazzled in a gorgeous body-hugging white dress, complete with a dreamy mesh cape bedecked with sparkles, nailing a chic, cosmic vibe, reports the Mirror. Speaking about their split, a source told the Mail Online: "Claire and Ricky remain good friends, there has been no fallout between them. They decided they're better off as pals and are no longer romantically together."
Claire and Ricky were last photographed together on 13 November and their split comes just weeks after they jetted off for Ricky's birthday celebrations on 4 October. Taking to Instagram at the time, Claire shared a sweet snap and wrote: "Off to celebrate my man's birthday in Tenerife," Ricky shared the same photo on his page.
