F1 Monaco Grand Prix live updatesFormula 1 descends on its most iconic track on Sunday as drivers and teams race through the streets of Monte Carlo for the 2023 Monaco Grand Prix. They'll all be chasing World Championship points leader Max Verstappen again – unless Fernando Alonso can pull off lap one magic. Verstappen emerged from a thrilling qualifying session on Saturday with the pole position in hand. It's his first pole at Monaco, but he'll have to fend off a front row attack from Fernando Alonso on the first lap. There aren't many overtaking opportunities at Monaco, so the race could come down to the first corner and any yellow or red flags over the 78 laps. The race starts at 9 a.m. ET / 2 p.m. BST. United States viewers can watch on ABC, the ESPN app or F1 TV. U.K. viewers can watch on Sky Sports.Further ReadingVerstappen secures Monaco GP pole positionMonaco GP: A flawed track showed its magic in Saturday’s F1 qualifying thrillerHistoric, famous and punishing: Breaking down Monaco’s iconic F1 circuit(Top photo: CHRISTIAN BRUNA/AFP via Getty Images)
