Updated: Mar. 01, 2022, 11:32 a.m. |Prattville Christian coach Jason Roberson seemed to be a little extra demonstrative on the sideline in the Class 3A girls semifinals Tuesday morning.Fortunately for him, his team didn’t lose its composure.
Plainview didn’t go away. The Bears got as close as 51-36 with an 8-0 run in the fourth quarter and were able battle better under the basket after facing a huge first-half rebounding deficit – both of which coach Luke Griggs was pleased about. “There was a lot of pressure on these girls. Obviously, we have a lot of talent. To rise up and meet that challenge and return to the title game is impressive.” – Graham.
“Our guys are so young. I joke with them that they need to put their Barbie dolls up, it’s time for practice. I think some of them still watch cartoons.” – Griggs on having one senior on the team.
