All traffic will be prohibited
Two roads in Nottinghamshire are set to be affected by closures for three weeks whilst sewer works are carried out. Restrictions will be introduced on both Jessops Lane and Lambley Lane in Gedling from 7am on Monday, June 26, and last until July 17.
Jessops Lane will be closed to traffic from its junction with Lambley Lane in a south-easterly direction for 27 metres. Lambley Lane will be shut for a distance of 30 metres either side of the same junction. In a traffic bulletin, Nottinghamshire County Council said all traffic, including emergency services, would be prohibited from driving through.
Hilliards Civils and Safezone Traffic Management will be implementing new sewer connections. Motorists have been advised to use Arnold Lane and Colliery Way as alternate routes.
