The community have gotten behind making sure the 'little bookstore' in Whiteabbey Glen is always fully stocked
A group in a Co Antrim village said their new community library has been a "huge success" in bringing neighbours together.
Speaking to Belfast Live about their newest addition, the community library, Colin said: "I saw boxes like these in Donegal and thought it would be nice to set up one of our own. "Cherryvale Furniture gave us the cabinet and I put a wee roof on it, moved the shelves around, waterproofed it, put a lock on it, and put a phone charger in it. All the kids around here know if their phone dies when they're out they can come here and charge them."
It's just one of many things the group has been working on, with regular community walks and other activities organised each week. They will also meet at their community park in Whiteabbey Glen to discuss things they would like to do in the future and community issues over a cup of tea.
