Ryan Daly, 27, from Portadown, was enjoying 'the adventure of a lifetime' when he was involved in a shocking accident that left him with severe injuries and little hope for recovery. Ryan was rushed to a hospital in Thailand and placed on life support, prompting his family to travel to his bedside.
Daly, who previously worked as a Care Attendant in the ambulance department of J&K Coaches in Moneymore, is now receiving care as his family faces an unimaginable ordeal. J&K Coaches, where Ryan worked alongside his mother and sister, established the fundraiser to assist them during this challenging time. The Just Giving page describes Ryan as a kind and compassionate individual dedicated to patient care. It emphasizes his unwavering commitment to helping others and now calls for support for him and his family. The fundraiser has already exceeded its £20,000 goal within 24 hours of its launch, raising over £30,975 (€36,750). J&K Coaches expressed their gratitude to the public for their generous donations and encouraged continued support for the campaign. Portadown Rugby Club, where Ryan is well-known, also joined the show of support, offering their thoughts and prayers while urging donations for the Daly family.
