A Co Down man is close to achieving his goal of running up and down Slieve Donard in the Mournes 100 times in a year.
"Then we were having dinner in August and somebody said to me 'sure you've done 50, why not do another 50?' - why not, sure keep her lit!He said he had recently added a charity element to the challenge, having initially resisted as he did not wish anyone to feel under pressure to donate given the cost-of-living crisis.
"Because it hasn't been done before though, I thought we may as well so I've just set it up recently.
