Six coffee shops and lunch spots have shared their special Christmas sandwich recipes. The sandwiches have become popular and are now served all year round. This year, a new variation with Christmas stuffing is being introduced.
Six of our favourite coffee shops and lunch spots have shared their very special Christmas sandwich recipes to inspire you in your leftover sandwich making endeavours this St Stephen’s Day …“We started our Christmas sandwich back in 2017. It was an instant success. We began selling it in late November and were planning to take it off the menu after New Year’s Day. However, each day more and more customers came in begging us just to make up one as a favour.
It caught on and now we serve our Christmas sandwich all year under the alias ‘The Ho Ho Ho sandwich’. This year we have decided to mix it up a little and we are serving our delicious Christmas stuffing in the sandwiches instead.”It comes with Irish butter, Dijon mustard and cranberry sauce as standard.
