Her little sister battled with a genetic disorder throughout her life
Television personality and internationally renowned WAG Coleen Rooney has shared a poignant tribute to her late sister.
Coleen is the eldest of four children, and her sister Rosie sadly passed away on 5 January 2013 at the age of 14.Rosie dealt with a lifelong battle with Rett syndrome. This is a rare genetic neurological and developmental disorder that affects the way the brain develops.Coleen posted a beautiful video of Rosie, where she is laughing and giggling while her big sister plays with her."Happy Birthday Rosie. Love you," she said simply.
"My boys speak about you all the time Ro, wish they all could have met you. Love and miss you every day," she said in a previous post.In a statement released at the time, Coleen's loving parents Tony and Colette wrote: "Sadly our special angel Rosie, our much-loved daughter and sister, went to Heaven at 2.
