Comedian Andy Dick's butt-grabbing victim CAN testify in actor's trial for 'groping a Lyft driver'
Judge Emily Garcia Uhrig ruled on Wednesday that evidence presented against comedian Andy Dick in another case can be used in his current trial. The Los Angeles District Attorney's Office asked her to allow testimony from Dick's victim in a butt-grabbing incident in April 2018.
Uhrig ruled that the victim - only identified as Christina S - can testify citing 'the similarity between the two offenses and close proximity in time'. Dick, 56, is charged with misdemeanor sexual battery after a Lyft driver - identified as Dylan B - claimed that Dick grabbed his genitals during a car ride. He has pleaded not guilty - and jury selection is expected to begin this week
