Concern of increased 'chaos' on Arnold roads as 131-home development moves forward
Concerned residents living close to a 131-home development have spoken of the trouble that could be caused on a road that is already full of "chaos." The first of the off-site manufactured affordable homes, Arnold's first factory-built homes, have been installed in Rolleston Drive, Arnold.
"Personally I really don't like the parking situation on this road I think it's terrible. Look at all the cars parked on the pavement - it makes the roads narrower than they already are.Seventy-three year old Cerys Turner, who lives in Darlton Drive, said: "The one and only worry for me is parking. There's not a lot of spaces as there is and even though they'll probably introduce some new parking spaces there's going to be a lot more cars on the road.
"This is an older neighbourhood too so I don't know how kids will settle in. Even the rush with kids coming out of school is loud enough for me, they shout so loudly it's unbelievable - I don't know how they're not deaf.
