Congratulations🤩
The report found pupils to be “confident, happy children who feel included and proud of their school” and added children were “aware of their rights which support them to be successful and engage well in their learning.”
The headteacher was praised for her “leadership and vision that reduces barriers to learning for all children and families at Bargeddie Primary school” and added that staff were “enthusiastic and capable” working well together “to improve the life chances and learning experiences of all children.” The inspection team also found evidence of “positive, trusting relationships between staff, families, children and partners that reflect the nurturing ethos and school values.”
Suggested areas for improvement were identified and discussed with the headteacher and a representative from North Lanarkshire, including: “Continue to increase the involvement of the whole school community in evaluating and shaping improvement priorities” and “continue to embed consistent approaches to learning, teaching and assessment. Ensure that learning is set at the right level of difficulty for all children.
