Congresswoman, Delano Burkes' family pleads for information on the 26-year-old found in bayou

Karen Jeffley, Burkes' mother, said the Department of Public Safety identified her son by his fingerprints. Police have not ruled Burkes' case as a homicide, and it could take three to six months for a toxicology report to shed some light on his manner of death, according to Jeffley. Police have not linked the cases and no signs of trauma or foul play have been discovered, Chief Troy Finner said in a Friday news release.
