Conman who claims serious back injuries left him needing wheelchair filmed jogging in Dublin

A shameless Romanian conman who claimed he suffered serious back injuries which left him needing a wheelchair was videoed jogging, it emerged on Tuesday.

The conman, who could now face fraud charges, withdrew this claim after the video evidence which contradicted his claim that he required a wheelchair and crutches was presented to the High Court. Speaking after the case MIBI chief executive, David Fitzgerald said: “This is a victory for putting suspicious claims to the test.

“We will look under every stone to establish the truth and if we do find any falsehoods we will bring those to the attention of the legal authorities.
