My colleague Killian Woods wasn’t able to get a firm answer on that from Leo Clancy, the outgoing CEO of Enterprise Ireland, this week but rumours suggest it will likely undergo revision. Speaking after the state agency announced job figures for client companies, Clancy said EI is scoping options for a “centralised innovation space” as part of a possible reformatting of the accelerator. The ‘innovation space’ mirrors the Station F-style operation idea that was being floated last year.

Talking of Meta, the European Commission is reviewing its investigations in to multiple tech companies including the Facebook-parent, after the US-based companies called on incoming president Donald Trump to intervene on the tight regulations in the EU. The UK government has committed to a huge shift towards increasing AI's reach and capacity, promising to build a new supercomputer and launch so-called"growth zones" to support the rapid growth of AI data centres.
