Conor Benn was delighted to see Chris Eubank Jr get knocked out by Liam Smith

Smith assaulted Eubank Jr with a ruthless combination of punches, culminating with a massive left uppercut and devastating left hook which floored him.Eubank Jr stumbled back to his feet on wobbly legs and just about carried on.Smith did not give up this opportunity though and quickly downed Eubank Jr again with another left uppercut – this time referee Victor Loughlin stopped the fight.

Benn quickly took to social media to react and was delighted following the bitter back-and-forth that he’s shared with Eubank Jr since their fight’s collapse. He first tweeted: “Oh man, @ChrisEubankJr, it’s a good job you didn’t fight me. You’d last two rounds at 160lbs.”Benn then followed up by posting a clip of himself and his father Nigel Benn celebrating on Instagram.
