The comments came after Hughes said in a interview after the bout when asked about McGregor: "I'm not like this other guy. I'm my own man." He added: "Up the real Irish f*** these vermin f***s." The messages have since been deleted by McGregor. “It’s probably the most disrespectful thing you could say to a fellow Irishman is that he’s not Irish just because I come from the north of the country."“Because unfortunately it’s not the Conor that we once knew.
