The Irishman's leg snapped at the end of the first round of their July 2021 fight and he has not yet returned to action.
Conor McGregor has claimed that his leg was already broken before he fought Dustin Poirier in July 2021.
McGregor has hinted in the past that his leg was injured heading into the fight, however, he confirmed that was the case in an Instagram post that he made on Thursday.In the post, McGregor shares a training clip that was captured prior to the Poirier fight. In the video, McGregor can be seen practicing throwing lead hook kicks, with his left leg - the one which snapped - heavily strapped.
