As Chairman of the General Entertainment Authority in Saudi Arabia, Alalshikh has become one of the most important figures in sport and has played a massive role in bringing big boxing, football and WWE events to the Middle-East.

McGregor has spoken glowingly of Alalshikh and asked the official to help end his fighting exodus last year.
