While McGregor has starred in numerous commercials throughout his career, this will be his first foray into feature films.
The movie is set to go into production in the Dominican Republic this month and will be available to watch in more than 240 countries and territories worldwide once it has been released.claim McGregor had not seen Road House when he first found out that there was interest in him starring in the new version of the film.
It is claimed McGregor was convinced to star in its reboot after watching and enjoying the 1989 original, which starred Patrick Swayze.McGregor's immediate focus, however, will be on his long-awaited return to the UFC. The former featherweight and lightweight champion has not fought since breaking his leg in his defeat to Dustin Poirier at UFC 264 last July.
McGregor has now resumed full training and is expected to make his return to the octagon later this year, with Michael Chandler, Charles Oliveira and Nate Diaz among a number of names touted as potential opponents for the Irishman.
