The UFC stars compete in the same divisions and a fight between the pair has been mooted for a while, with Pimblett describing the potential scrap as a 'dream fight.'
“A dream fight, probably Conor because you'll get paid more than anyone else fighting him. So, I would probably have to say him,” said the Baddy earlier this year before going on to predict that he would beat McGregor if they ever fought. As two of the UFC's most popular stars, a fight between the pair would undoubtedly be massive. According to Bellew, it would be too big for Liverpool FC's Anfield, and in his eyes, a certain Dublin stadium would need to host the contest.
"Conor vs Paddy would be astronomical," said Bellew, who was Speaking to BoyleSports - who provide the latest boxing betting. "Anfield would not be big enough. It would have to be Croke Park. It would be great for Paddy, it would be life changing for him.. It would be great for him and great for the city of Liverpool. It would be great for mixed martial arts in this country."
