Nicola Bulley's loved ones are worried for her safety after she disappeared on a dog walk last Friday.
Officers issued another appeal for a possible key witness earlier today as the hunt for the 45-year-old mortgage advisor, who was last seen around 9.20am on Friday, January 27, rages on.
In an update, the force said she has since been identified, but reinforced that there is nothing to suggest that any third party was involved in Nicola's disappearance. A team of divers foraged beneath the surface of the River Wyre while others combed the banks and a fire service boat team, alongside a specialist search dog, scoured the water surface.
She had just dropped off her two daughters, aged six and nine, at the local school and after going missing her phone was found on a park bench nearby, along with the harness and lead for her dog.8.43am: Nicola walked along the path by the River Wyre, having dropped her children off at school Nicola's sister Louise Cunningham, speaking to Sky News today, said: "I just can't... if I'm being honest, it feels like I'm just stuck in a nightmare.
