Liz and Graham were friends for 15 years before becoming a couple ❤
In the run up to the most loved up day of the year, we are feeling the love and chatting to some of the countries most romantic and loved up pairs.
"He was the nicest guy ever and when I was younger, I didn't appreciate it. We kind of knew each other for about 15 years before he asked me on a date. I was so comfortable meeting up with him because we already had that friendship. We went on our first date in Arthur Maynes five years ago and the rest is history!"
"He's not romantic once or twice a year, he's romantic all the time. Even though we've been together five years, he still takes me on surprise dates or does little thoughtful things for me. "It was just the two of us and the pilot seeing the sights. I was so emotional because I couldn't believe that Graham had organised all this without me knowing. I didn't think it could be any more perfect than it was. As we were flying, he put his hands in the shape of a love heart and told me to look down. We had flown over an island in the shape of an actual love heart. You can't access that island by boat because it's preserved so you can only see it from the sky.
We had a ball. Because we're both self employed, we literally had to go straight back to work but before the wedding, Graham had asked me to take a day off in December, because he had a surprise for me."
