"The running joke at Red is that I was the DJ for the day who never went away" Izzy joked, referring to snagging a career with the broadcaster after winning a radio competition."I did a lot of campus radio in Griffith College while studying which was great because it got the nerves out of me. I remember being so nervous the first day I was going on air for my first breakfast show.
"What I love the most about radio is being able to put a smile on someone's face and make their journey a little bit brighter. No matter what time of day you're listening, you might be having a really bad day but you could turn on the radio and feel good about a song you love. To me, that's what it's all about".
