The four time All-star reflected on a busy 2023 Munster Senior Hurling Championship, bringing his son Jack to see him play and he teased if he plans to retire this year
Fans at home hit out after big games, mainly in the Munster Senior Hurling Championship, were put behind a pay wall.
Patrick told RSVP Live: "Why do people need to pay to watch games that should be on the telly for everyone to watch? Patrick's son Jack, who was born in April 2022, watched his famous daddy take to the pitch this summer. "What happens after that happens, I have no control over it. I am back with my club at the moment and I am enjoying it."
There were calls this year the change the format of the hurling championship after Munster proved to be a lot more competitive than Leinster. RTÉ's The Sunday Game has also made headlines this summer. Patrick is never bothered what about his former teammates or opponents say on screen."Obviously, they have a job to do and they will say whatever they need to say to stay on the show.
