The iconic character, who has been played by Kate Ford since 2002, has been engaging in a steamy affair with former footballer Tommy Orpington for months, which has left her husband Steve devastated.
The daughter of Deirdre Barlow and Ray Langton , Tracy has seen a fair share of drama during her time in the ITV soap including kidney failure and murdering boyfriend Charlie Stubbs with an ornament. Steve’s devastated at the farewell party But following her latest setback, she will contemplate a new life on the other side of Europe. When Steve finds a letter from Tommy inviting her to move to Spain with him, he hides it away.
