Last night on the ITV soap, which airs on Virgin Media in Ireland, Harvey was fuming after finding out that he hadn't been able to bring Adam Barlow down after he organised for one of his friends to knock him down in a car to teach him a lesson. However, when Damon made a call to Harvey in prison, he explained he needed money off him now his appeal wasn't going to go through and warned trouble was ahead if he didn't.
Will Mellor - who is reprising his role as villainous Harvey Gaskell - has admitted his role is very "challenging". "I wanted to play him very real, a proper baddie, I thought if I'm ever going to be in Coronation Street I’m glad I’m playing a baddie because it's a part I don't get to play a lot. I enjoy playing him even though he's a baddie."
