Coronation Street's Chesney Brown, played by Sam Aston, isn't the only member of his family to have walked the cobbles.
His older sister Emily, now 40, starred in 51 episodes between 1996 and 1997 as Rebecca Palmer, daughter of Claire Palmer, who was Des Barnes' girlfriend at the time. However, Claire and Des split up a year later. Since leaving Coronation Street, Emily has appeared in shows like Where the Heart Is, Blackpool, Funland, Robin Hood, Doctors and Heartbeat.
Soap star Sam talked about whether he might leave Corrie after being on the show for nearly 20 years. He was on Loose Women and Janet Street-Porter asked him if he thought about leaving the soap soon.
