Coronation Street's Lucy Fallon to return to ITV soap as Bethany Platt following break
The 27-year-old actress played the role of Bethany Platt from 2015 to 2020. She is expected to return to air in the "coming months" which will be welcome news to fans of the popular ITV soap.
A source told the publication: “Lucy is one of soap’s most talented actresses who won lots of awards for her powerful portrayal of Bethany’s grooming storyline. “Once they’d talked about childcare, and how best to juggle it all, she was able to say she’d love to return.” Lucy also welcomed a baby boy named Sonny Jude with footballing partner Ryan Ledson earlier this year.
