Peter Ash has been a staple on Coronation Street for six years but following his character Paul Foreman's Motor Neurone Disease storyline the Weatherfield resident is trying something new
Peter Ash is set to bid farewell to Coronation Street after a six-year stint, having recently spoken about his character's special episode that delves into his Motor Neurone Disease diagnosis. The actor first made his appearance on the cobbles in 2018 as Paul Foreman, David Platt's former cellmate from their time at Highfield Prison. He quickly became a mainstay following Paul's release from his cells.
Ahead of his character's imminent departure, the actor has hinted at his upcoming acting ventures. A joint post with Anton Benson Productions last Thursday revealed that Peter would be trading the Corrie set for the stage, as he's set to star in the pantomime, Aladdin. Taking on the role of Abanazar - who inspired Jafar in the Disney production - Peter will be performing in the panto from December 12 to January 4 at The Queen Elizabeth Hall, Oldham.
