View Park Preparatory High School has switched to remote learning for a week, and the Crenshaw football team was sidelined after a game with View Park.
. But every option is on the table, the school noted in a weekend communication to parents.
The school has 408 students and tries to test all students and staff every week. On Oct. 14, the total number tested was 345. This was supposed to be homecoming week, but the football game was cancelled and activities postponed. The homecoming dance had already been canceled outright due to safety concerns.
Robert Garrett, head coach of the Crenshaw High School varsity football team, had no team to lead through practice this week because his players were in quarantine after a player on an opposing team tested positive for the coronavirus.
