Coronation Street actor Tony Maudsley, who plays George Shuttleworth, has impressed fans with his weight loss transformation, shortly after confirming he is staying on the street
Tony, 55, has been playing the resident funeral director George Shuttleworth on the ITV soap since 2020, and recently fans have noticed that he has shed some pounds.Underneath a photo of Tony with his co-star Gareth Pierce, who plays Todd Grimshaw on the soap, one person commented: "Looking very trim Mr M," while another asked: "How did you shed weight?"He runs the funeral parlour on Victoria Street called Shuttleworth's Independent Funeral Services with the help of Todd.
"I thought she'd be pleased! That's George keeping Eyelash on her toes until at least July 2024, and I couldn't be happier." It appears that, Tony would like to see his character step things up with Eileen, as he revealed in an interview with TV Times that he would like them to tie the knot.
