Coronation Street fans were quick to issue a stern warning to one character following the latest trip to the cobbles over their 'horrid' move towards Roy Cropper. The much-loved cafe owner is currently facing a rough time after coming under suspicion of being involved in Lauren Bolton's disappearance.
And while Daniel Osbourne has also been questioned, it's Roy who has been most under suspicion by the police and true crime ghouls online. During Monday night's trip to the cobbles, the street stalwart was seen answering the phone to receive another volley of abuse and quickly retreated upstairs. Overhearing the conversation, Sam shared how he wished he could pay Roy a visit but Nick told him he didn't think it was a good idea. Sam then lied to Shona and told her that he was going round to see Hope Stap, but instead, he called at the café and suggested to Roy they have a game of chess.
