Coronation Street star Claire Sweeney teased she had some good news before returning to the cobbles. The actress appears to have had a busy time of late, heading on holiday with her young son before later heading on a whirlwind trip to Ireland with her beau Ricky Hatton.

It comes after Claire was told she 'looks the same' now as she did 24 years ago as she took a trip down memory lane. The soap star took to social media with snaps of herself from her Brookside days. Long before arriving on the cobbles, Claire was known for starring in the defunct Channel 4 soap as Lindsey Corkhill, the daughter of already-established regulars Jimmy and Jackie.
