Coronation Street star Claire Sweeney has been praised for being 'humble' after giving a glimpse inside her low-key birthday celebrations. The actress marked her 53rd birthday on Wednesday and among those sending her their best wishes was rumoured love interest Ricky Hatton.
While the former Brookside star posted the photo and video to her Instagram page without a caption, the messages came flooding in. Retired boxer Ricky responded by writing: "xxxxxx," to which Claire responded with red love hearts. Claire has since shared how she marked her birthday by going out with Jaxon and their family. In a video posted to her Instagram page, the soap star could be seen being presented with a birthday cake with a lit 'C' candle in the middle.
Instagram Captioning the post, Claire wrote: "The excitement was too much! And THEN the doggy bag!!! Honestly, with my loved ones and couldn’t be happier." Ricky again responded to the post, writing: "xxxxx," while Real Housewives of Cheshire star Tanya Bardsley posted a string of crying laughing emojis and said: "Absolutely love this. I bet @dj_fattony_ wished he was there for the doggy bag too.
