Coronation Street star Claire Sweeney was flooded with supportive messages as she shared an update which left her 'thrilled'. The actress discovered she was up for an award - but not for her soap role.
She is nominated for her role as Beverley Carnell in The Good Ship Murder. The Channel 5 series followed former detective Jack Grayling who is living his best life working as an entertainer on a cruise ship. Sharing news of her award nomination for her part in the murder-mystery show, Claire wrote on Instagram: "Thrilled to be nominated for best supporting Actor in a Drama, playing Beverly Carnell in The Good Ship Murder @tvtimesmagazine Awards. You can vote on the home page @tvtimesmagazine @clapperboard_st @channel5_tv."
