Coronation Street icon Ian Bartholomew who played the villain Geoff Metcalfe looks completely different in his first big appearance since he was killed off in the ITV soap
Former Coronation Street actor Ian Bartholomew, who played the evil Geoff Metcalfe, looked unrecognisable as he appeared in ITV's Midsomer Murders.
The 69 year old is playing the father of a young girl called Tilly, who was murdered at the start of the episode - but there's a twist. As the episode aired on TV, fans were quick to notice Ian playing his new character, and they quickly likened him to his soap villain role. Actress Tracy Ann Oberman, who is best known for her role as Chrissie Watts in EastEnders, is one of those stars in the episode.
Colin has joined the programme as part of the new Knight family with his two daughters, Anna and Gina.
