There's plenty of police action in Coronation Street week but the big question is, is the net finally closing in on Stephen Reid? First off though it's Bernie Winter who finds herself at the police station.
But as the celebrations get underway, the police call at No.7, just as Bernie Winter and Dev Alahan settle down and relax in their dressing gowns, telling Bernie that they’d like her to answer some questions regarding a potential fraud investigation involving Shelly Rothington.At the station, Bernie makes out she’s simply helping a young woman with MND by collecting a few parcels for her.

Masking his inner turmoil, Stephen makes out he’s got a migraine.
