Cost of living: Another €200 electricity credit may be considered by government

The government will be meeting in the coming weeks to carry out an assessment of all cost of living reliefs, according to The Taoiseach

The cost of living increases and rise in the price of fuel and heating has impacted everyone across the country.

This came in the form of three separate credits of €200, applied to people's accounts. For PrePay customers, the top up comes in the form of a code from their supplier.The first of these three credits was applied to accounts in November, the second was this month, and the third will be paid to customer's accounts between 1 March 2023 and 30 April 2023.

Earlier this week, Taoiseach Leo Varadkar confirmed that the various cost of living measures put in place to support Irish households are due to end after February.Mr Varadkar did not clarify which cost of living measures would be discontinued, after requests were made by the Opposition.
